Building the Digital Foundation for Donor Engagement
Tenure Facility is a global organization dedicated to advancing the land and forest rights of Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendant Peoples, and local communities. In 2025, we partnered with the team to strengthen their donor communications ecosystem through two dedicated giving landing pages and a new visual direction for their organizational pitch deck.

The Ask
Tenure Facility was ready to introduce online giving into its web ecosystem for the first time, as a strategic move to support fundraising in the U.S. and global giving. They needed two web pages designed in line with their brand but with stronger visual storytelling:
- A Tenure Facility Fund (TFF) landing page tailored for U.S. donors, featuring various giving methods
- A Ways to Give page for all audiences, including an explainer graphic of how donations lead to impact
In addition, we were asked to reimagine their organizational pitch deck: stripping away dense text, enhancing design flow, and giving the brand a bolder, more emotionally resonant visual language.
The Solution
We designed and delivered:
- Two fully responsive landing pages (desktop + mobile) in Figma, structured around donor decision flows (client provided mock-ups and we brought it to life)
- Clickable pop-ups for giving options (DAF, PayPal/Stripe, cheque, meeting requests) and clear UI guidance for developer handoff
- Clean design, accessible color contrast, and storytelling visuals in both pages, while keeping within Tenure Facility’s teal-accented visual identity
- A refreshed pitch deck rooted in clarity: less text, more space, and strong imagery to bring the work to life for funders
The Results
The pages marked the first time Tenure Facility incorporated digital giving pathways into its website, and laid the groundwork for future fundraising strategy. From June onward:
- The TFF landing page ranked #2 in their “Movers & Shakers” site section in 2025
- Ways to Give page received several small gifts already recorded, despite no promotion
Feedback from the team:
“We are super happy with the support you gave us for both pages… Both are critical for our funding strategy in the U.S.”
The project helped build trust with future donors while elevating the brand’s overall digital credibility.
"They were able to take a rough mockups & asks... adding their creative touch while staying true to our vision."
“Working with the horae on our pitch deck and landing pages was seamless. Despite gaps in the initial content and shifting timelines, the team delivered high-quality outputs with reasonable rounds of feedback. They were able to take a rough mockups & asks, and transform it into a professional, user-friendly products, adding their creative touch while staying true to our vision. Their ability to ask the right questions, work independently, and bridge communication between design and development made a big difference. We always felt confident we’d get excellent results—even under tight deadlines.
